My dearest friend,
I am here again, and I'd like to share this thought with you...I bought a hummingbird feeder. Filled it up with that solution for the hummingbirds, and look...they came in a heart beat...two of them. First I though there was a hornet hovering around my head and in a panic I ran home, but to my surprise there were two humming birds she and he. She is smaller, and I could say her movements are more delicate - she is just a lady, he is more colorful, with a red spot around his neck, that looks like a holographic image, cause it changes under the angle, I couple I thought...so sweet...they nested in my tree, nearby the house, they fly around every day, seems like they chase each other...first I thought they were fighting, but actually it looks like a love dance...they take turns getting their drinks...I have read they have to eat/drink at least 50% of their body weight daily to survive, amazing...their chirping lightens up my day, you hear that little "squeak, squeak" around your ear, and immediately I stop moving and just observe in an awe...Soon the third one appeared, actually, 5 months later, and I wonder if this is an offspring...So now I have three little, fragile birdies, that come back daily, and I am filling up my hummingbird feeder...what an amazing creature...God created them to please my soul...cause whenever I see them I feel free...I feel like flying myself with them in that crazy little dance, they do every time they hover around the feeder...I am so close sometimes, I could touch them, they are so tiny, their beaks are so thin, like a needle, their eyes though are quite big looking...their slim body is an evidence of Creator's excellence, the way they hover around in one place without stopping moving their wings just leaves me speechless...I love hummingbirds...and I am always thinking of you when I look at them...
